*prepare your potatoes, white onion and cucumber...
*cut your potatoes into cubes... skin on... just wash the potatoes thoroughly...
*put your cubed potatoes in tap water first before turning on the heat... allow it to boil... until tender...
*cut your cucumber into bite size pieces...
*chop your white onions...
*drain your potatoes... cold shock... then drain again... add your cucumber...
*add your onions...
*add your sandwich spread... mix carefully...
*add grated cheese, salt and pepper to taste...
*at this point you can eat it as is...this is now POTATO SALAD...
*now to convert it to POTATO SOUP...
*pour your milk into a pot...
*add in your potato salad... allow to simmer... add salt and pepper to desired taste...
*serve HOT!
