San Pablo City, Laguna, PH
may 24, 2014
green flannel sleeves (lee), geo printed shorts (vintage), gray trainers with camo lace (new balance), socks (thrifted), king cap (thrifted), wayfarer (rayban)
you will pass by SM CITY SAN PABLO!
on your left (coming from Sto tomas) you will see MERALCO...
after a few minutes you will see BATO SPRINGS sign on your left...
few minutes in... you will see barangay San Cristobal...
then you will see a sign going inside BATO SPRINGS...
wooded entrance... with lots of stores outside selling everything from charcoal to drinks to ice... and even fish...
with barangay ordinance... fee for something... i dunno...
camping style picnic...
table rental @ 400php... tent rental around 1,000 to 2,000 php...
because its summer time and weekend... the place is crowded... but there are plenty of pools and falls for everyone...
cottages are also available for rentals especially for overnight stay...
one of the pools... with very cold spring water... from what I read the water came directly from Mt. Banahaw, a sacred mountain... believed to be with healing properties...
some of the areas are catch basin... so you could see some debris and silt...
huge pavilion...
massage area... a.k.a. man made falls...
there are resort employees circling the premises... including lifeguards... wearing official resort t-shirts...
bahay kubo cottage...
male shower and changing area...
there is a shower room attendant...
stores can also be found inside...
we took a dip and massage at the icy falls...
sorry no photos... we forgot our waterproof camera.. :(
after our dip...
another kind of dipping... FOOD DIPPING... lols...
piattos <3
traffic on our way home... because its the month of MAY... there are lots of santacruzan...
well 2 lane highway turned into 4 lane highway did not help either...
green wooded estate, icy relaxing water, spacious and well maintained facility...
STYLE (travel) AWAY!
